Ski is a very sweet little one year old girl, and just a little shy. She loves to run and play, and she plays well with all the other little doggies here at our shelter. She’s looking for her forever family to take her out on adventures. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
Yahtzee is a sweet, friendly, seven month old girl who is full of energy. She loves to run, play, and do just about anything that involves being active, and she loves being with people. She love balls, and toys, and treats. Yes, don’t forget the treats! Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
Congratulations to Yahtzee on finding her new family…
Asher is a really sweet, laid back, one year old boy who loves to give hugs and go on walks. The Great Pyrenees is an amazing breed that is affectionate and gentle, hardworking and independent. Their most evident trait is the love their owners and unconditional devotion. Asher might have some Border Collie in him, making him the perfect big dog, and he is ready to find his new family. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
Update! Asher has been adopted by a lucky family on the same day as his featured post 🙂
This is Dae. She is a sweet and calm little ten month old girl, very shy and timid, but she loves attention, and warms up quickly to anyone that gives it to her. She has not been given much love and attention in her life so far, but she’s learning that she really likes it. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
Giblet the Great Pyrenees and Hound mix was featured a couple of days ago, along with all of his brothers and sisters. Well… Giblet quickly found his forever family and his new name is Shadow. You can see from the picture above that Shadow (the brown puppy on the bottom) has settled right in with his new “big” brother. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
Yay! Shadow wasn’t the only puppy who was rescued. Here is Turkey with his new Dad…
This is Blessing, but everyone at our shelter calls her by her nickname, Mama, because she was rescued along with her nine babies! She is a great mom and every one of her puppies is doing great. Now her puppies are all weaned and ready to find their own homes, and Blessing is ready to find her own as well! She is a super sweet girl who loves to be loved on, and loves treats, too. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
Hold onto your socks, because the cuteness of this batch of puppies might blow them right off! Mom is a Chihuahua mix and dad is a scruffy Terrier mix. We are guessing these puppies will be about 20 to 25 pound adults. They are currently about three pounds. Willow is pictured above, and her siblings are Ember, Mocha, Oliver Twist, Pearl and Maple. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
Some of our boys and girls here at the shelter are going out trick or treating tonight. Why? Because they love treats! Zack the Yorkshire Terrier, pictured above, wanted to go as a lobster. Zeb the Golden Retriever Mix is going as a football. Zeta the Border Collie Mix is dressing up as Dracula. Zara the Puggle (Pug and Beagle Mix) is going as a bumble bee, even though it looks like she is not too happy about it. Zeke the Yorkie is an ice cream sandwich. And the senior member of the group, Tess the Pointer and Beagle Mix, will be a scary dragon. Scroll down to see everyone in their costumes. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
Zeb the football…
Zeta as an extremely frightening Dracula…
Zara the reluctant bumble bee…
Zeke the ice cream sandwich…
Tess the fire-breathing dragon…
Zeta was not scary enough to frighten away her new family…
Congratulations to Zeke on finding you new family. Have a happy life.
Zara is happier now with her new family and no bumble bee costume…
Zeb has finally been adopted. Here he is with his new Dad…
This is Fox, and he is as cool as they come. He is friendly, and sweet, and super smart. He is two years old and knows all kinds of tricks. He is looking for a new forever family that is ready for a dog that wants to be active and needs lots of exercise. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
Congratulations to Fox on finding your new family!
Our shelter just had three new adorable Spaniel, Terrier Mix arrivals. For the time being we’re calling them Chipmunk (pictured above), Squirrel, and Skunk (don’t worry, he smells like a normal puppy). These sweethearts will grow to be about 30 pounds, and we suspect that they won’t be here at the shelter very long. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
