Dill is almost three months old. She is the sweetest girl, but a little on the shy side. When she does warm up to you, she loves getting attention and getting pet. This is Pippa, an incredibly sweet girl waiting for her forever family to take her home. She is ten moths old,loves everybody she meets, and wants a family to take her on adventures: walks and hiking and camping would be so much fun for her. Tahoe has grown up here at our shelter. He arrived here in December of 2016 when he was about six weeks old. It’s now May and all of his siblings have been adopted, but Tahoe is still here waiting. We know there is some Heeler in there, and probably some black and tan hound, maybe… He’s a great dog, happy, friendly, outgoing. Tahoe loves to play with other dogs and loves to snuggle. If you sit in the yard he’ll plop himself right across your lap. If he has to wait six more months he won’t fit in his baby bandanna anymore! Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.

This is Lemony Snicket and he weighs 32 pounds at 17 weeks. That means he is going to be a BIG dog and his new family should love big, fluffy, teddy bear dogs. He is smart and sweet and very loving. He likes everyone and everything. Bernese Mountain Dogs are known for being cheerful dogs that love children. They are very intelligent, easy to train and are natural watchdogs, but not overly dominant. A Bernese Mountain Dog will be your friend for life. We’re seeing spots today at the Humane Society! Four purebred Dalmatians were just rescued from Animal Control. This girl pictured above is Polka Dot. Her sister is Mosaic, and her bothers are Speck and Target are pictured below. They have lived their entire lives outside in concrete runs with more than 30 other dogs, and they are all definitely ready to live a normal dog’s life with a loving new family. Quigley is a wiggly, five month old yellow lab puppy! He and his brothers were rescued from a breeder who was closed down. Our shelter took 16 dogs into safety, all of them deserving of new homes. Submitted by the Humane Society of Morgan County Georgia.
